I wouldn't say Converge is metalcore, they definitly have a huge influence on what is considered Metalcore these days but I would rather discribe it as a perfect baby of metal and hardcore punk where both genres are equal.11 years ago

this album came out in 2001 and if you complain about the quality... most of that is youtube just sucking a fat one. bands like converge and poison the well are some of the biggest influences for a genre that is lacking today11 years ago

I gree but not with the metalcore thing. Im not one to fight over genres but i wouldnt throw Converge in that Genre. Chaotic Hardcore fits a bit better.12 years ago
