Controlled Bleeding - Wall Of China (Soup Time Records, 1981) 7" EP

The debut of Paul Lemos' legendary band, before turning into industrial noise. Gary Pecorino and drummer Tony Meola were the other members, long before the arrival of long-time collaborators Chris Moriarty and Joe Papa (R.I.P.). The band recorded this four track EP where you can clearly hear Paul's interest in 1970's music. "Wall Of China / Love Letters" is an instrumental psychedelic ride, whereas "No Flies (On Frank) / Veal" shows kraut rock influences. These songs have been reissued on the "Before The Quiet" compilation CD in 2008.
