Conquest Of Paradise - Vangelis (Live in Athens - Greece) video free download

In the Panathenean Stadium, Athens 90,000 spectator, ancient all-marble stadium, Vangelis performs his creation Conquest of Paradise from the 1492 movie soundtrack.

The performance was part of the Opening Ceremony of the 6th IAAF World Championships in Athletics in 1997 in Athens.

The concept of the ceremony, the direction, the artistic and musical supervision was solely by Vangelis Papathanasiou.

Στο Παναθηναϊκό στάδιο, το αρχαίο καλλιμάρμαρο στάδιο της Αθήνας, ο Βαγγέλης Παπαθανασίου ερμηνεύει τη δημιουργία του Conquest of Paradise από την μουσική επένδυση της ταινίας 1492.

Η ερμηνεία ήταν μέρος της τελετής έναρξης του 6ου Παγκοσμίου Πρωταθλήματος Ανοικτού Στίβου της IAAF, το 1997 στην Αθήνα.

Η έμπνευση, σκηνοθεσία, καλλιτεχνική και μουσική επιμέλεια ήταν του Βαγγέλη Παπαθανασίου.
