I have always adored this hymn. It is beautiful and as an organist myself, I particularly love the 2nd verse "Take my hands .... Take my feet...." which I think is a verse that applies to organists especially because we use our hands and feet a lot :)

"Take my life and let it be," for LCMS, found in the Lutheran Hymnal song number 400, or in the Evangelical Lutheran Worship Hymnal for ELCA it is called "Take my life that I may be" found as song number 685. Other than the first line, however, the lyrics are the same for either ELCA or LCMS. I have attended both churches (I'm ELCA now), and I have always adored this song, this has to be one of the best hymns in explaining who we are in God's eyes.
