+johndabomb44 I have to disagree, even if we take the high vocals out of the equation Khan was still a much more varied and versatile singer during his time in Conception. He still sounded good in Kamelot but his vocal work in that band was a lot more one-dimensional by comparison.

@JamesCrow22 It is typical. We always want to do with our voice what our idols can do, while others are the only ones who can see the uniqueness in our voice. As for extending your range downwards, I would advice you to do vocal exercises in the morning, when your voice is already deep. It might help. The human voice was designed to naturally reach an eight octave vocal range, so with enough of the right training, I believe you can do it after all :)

@lordmithharn see you can work on your range and get higher, but no matter how hard I try I won't be able to get the deep boomy tone that Roy has. I envy his voice!
