Saw The Comsats support U2 at this time - '81 - in Glasgow - U2 had grown their hair long and were wearing bad clothes and moaning on about Sunday Bloody Sunday - on the night The Comsats blew them away...... U2's world tour has grossed £750 million so far .....twats!

This is so amazing. I saw them too around this time. Also saw them again a month ago, and basically nothing al all has changed! Sometimes time really does not exist.
