Well, Nas has some pretty sick lyrics...Rakim is one of the best... If you've ever heard Guru he's got rhymes like this as well. Mos Def was a lot like Common. To be honest, I'm not trying to make this a competition. Common is a really good lyricist. Deserves a lot more credit.
