I agree with pfretz13. The piece should not be so choppy. If you are going to play staccato, you need to make each note very crisp on such a large instrument in such a large building. Listen to what the instrument is doing and make the pipes obey you. Granted, the recording device is probably at fault as it kind off comes off as sloppy. But consider holding the notes on the left hand as opposed to letting them participate in the dance. The right hand should be sufficient in that regard.

I think that in the very beginning intro you shouldn't play it so quickly. In the bridge where you break out to the almost traditional tune, don't make it quite so syncopated. I actually think that if you saved that syncopation for the rest of the tune, it breaks it up more and makes those other parts stand out!

It cost 1.2 million. The 32 ft. pipe weighs in at about 1,000 lbs. I have played it before. It is huge and very loud in person. It looks very tiny compared to what it is in the picture.

I am interested In playing the organ, but I can play the piano very well, my question is "How do the foot pedals work in combination with the hand keys" Great Job by the way

@samc726 I believe it cost about $4 million. It was built in 1996 by Casavant, and it is a joy to be able to hear it every Sunday! Hopefully, more videos of our organ will show up on Youtube.
