I have loved this album dearly since I bought it years ago. Hope it's not too gruesome to ask my loved ones to play this on my deathbed....

In the 1960's the jazz radio station in southern California would play this song every Sunday morning at eight o'clock sharp. My buddies and I would always listen to this song before we would go out board surfing. Funny how songs bring back old memories. Mahalo!

PHEW!!! This is an incredible acappella masterpiece that's sang by Mahalia Jackson. Every time I listen it to it, particularly in a semi-darkened or darkened room, I'm taken to a very quiet place in my spirit that continues for several minutes after the song ends. This song truly reiterates what an incredible singer Mahalia Jackson was and why her fame as the Queen of Gospel Music will continue forever!!
