You know, the lyrics to this song could also be put to a different context. Like a boy and girl grew up together, and the boy really liked her, but one day she left town. And after a long time (not necessarily a hundred years) she did come back, but with someone else. What do you think?

Your singing along with this picture really capture the raw sense of loss Princess Celestia must have felt when Princess Luna was banished.
