I'd have suffered irreversible depression after this pathetic last-ditch attempt to hang on to the past too. The pick scrapes are scary enough, but that goof ball who comes on at the end takes it all.

No need to get pissy about the host of the show. It was a silly show and he wasn't going to break character just because a band was on there. It's sad that Badfinger had to do stuff like that but that seems to be the story of their career.

The band was marooned in Milwaukee Wisconsin for two months in the early 80's, reduced to playing this show for money. Milwaukee Magazine wrote the whole sad story for its 2009 article "Prisoners of Rock 'n' Roll", Available on the web.

I agree, Badfinger was way to good for this kind of Schlock kind of low budget kind of circus show! I look at Toms face, and looks as though he's embarressed.

@recordhead59 Yes, I heard that they had a tour booked and all that came of it was a few shows and this downer show on a late night horror channel .
