So I remember when he used to call my name.He used those letters that I wish I could forget. It was never the tone of his voiceor the people in his pupil's, no, not his choice. It was something proper, but whatever, he was dying. It was the summer suicide, the sun was sinking into our moonlight. And even when the night was blind,we felt a ghost waiting by our suicide. The summer suicide. Now it's December, never useful, so dead's my game. Now no one's cleaver, not like he was. I won't forget. Now I hear about the moon and the mind.Stealing hours, mornings, minutes, eating pride. Now we're all proper, but whatever, I still cried. It was the summer suicide, the sun was sinking into our moonlight. And even when the night was blind,we felt a ghost waiting by our suicide. The summer suicide

like he was so far gone or it seemed so bad ('proper') that it may have even been a mental illness. Whatever the writer thinks is the problem doesn't matter, he knew that this guy was literally dying inside (but whatever, he was dying)

Moonlight is in reference to sadness, the sun being happiness (or what is normally thought of summer). I think the second is in reference to the person he's talking about. He's already dead (past-tense "used to" before this part). Like he (the writer) knew that this person was deeply troubled but it wasn't because of what he said or how he said it ('not the tone of his voice'), nor because of people they both knew (Pupil is part of your eye). Like he couldn't be saved, it wasn't his choice.

Damn good song!! But I don't seem to figure out the whole meaning of lyrics. For example: "the sun was sinking into our moonlight." and "It was never the tone of his voice or the people in his pupil's, no, not his choice. It was something proper, but whatever, he was dying." Any suggestion would be great. :)
