@abbyrod13 It's not a genre, it's just a way of production. I'm not sure what I would classify him as, but not indie because it's not a genre. He's pretty Bluegrassy with some soulful country rock. Thats how I would describe it and I'm sure tons of people will get mad at me for trying, BUT WHO CARES.

@bonecrusher303 You can't compare Jack and M Ward. Jack is more surf and beachy. There is nothing wrong with that and his lyrics are wonderful. M Ward is more indie than Jack. They are both great. Enjoy all music.
