One of my favourite tracks, too - makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I'm not even of Celtic descent...

this song was on the very last episode of the last series of the australian show "seachange". it was my favourite show and ill always love it and this song :)

@Impossible3144 well you do have a point, but, the guy still speaks with a scots accent, so i'm guessing he still regards himself as a scot, so we will just have to agree to share, he probably has dual nationality anyway :D

@stevejedi Come on, I think calling him Australian is fair enough. Aside from growing up here, he wrote one of the most iconic songs about Australia and being Australian, ever. Let us have him.

@Ciel201 no colin hay is a scotsman, born in kilwinning ayrshire, he moved down under as a kid, but still speaks with a scots accent.
