@Spec0pps117 There seems to be a misunderstanding. If you were to describe what type of instrument the Piano is, calling it "acoustic" would be incorrect. The correct way would be to describe it as a string-percussion for reasons you have already stated. Acoustic is a musical style that refers to a lack of electronic synthesizing, not a classification of instrument (though it is a subdivision of guitars).

@mmakert um, not to side with this jackass, the piano is both acustic and percussion... Percussion because the fingers hitting the keys, acustic because it uses strings... it beautifly so lets try not to argue...
