Sorry it took you so log to find Cold Blood. When I was in Las Vegas at UNLV back in the day. Cold Blood performed live at UNLV. They were just getting started. But wow ,could Lydia put it out there. I was a professional studio musician at the time and really enjoyed probably CB because as a musician I could appreciate what that tight rhythm section was doing. Cold Blood , what a band!!

I'm just addicted to this song. Took me 40 years to discover it. I just love the way it comes together.

Just listening to this band's evolution from BS&T and Chicago big band horn licks to the funk and soul like TOP was such a joy in real time. Lydia is like no other. The early 70's were SMOKIN' ! Cold Blood could be funkier than TOP. There, I said it. Similar, but unique in their own way. Sure wish there was some music to listen to today. It SUCX!!!!!

@kevin peachy Gaylord Birch at the drums is admired by all including Garibaldi of TOP - as is Lydia at the mic - but Knock Yourself Out live in Hemsptead NY FM May of 74 goes beyond Coldblood - anytime Pickett leads into Chester Thompson breakdown, you've got the East Bay's high -point - and, the farthest down
