what i always like about the underground bands of the 80s was the "cult of mystique" that was successfully cultivated by bands like the cocteau twins and the virgin prunes...i hesitate now to look at live videos of the band because i never saw the vocalists face back in the day before youtube...

@ritchiepeyton Hi their, glad your enjoying my videos, theirs sure lots of em..ha-ha..I always try to get a high sound quality to every video but it can depend on Youtube, the setting often just change for no reason from time to time to a lower quality,. which is annoying. Musette and Drums is my fave from the album, such a moving track, its almost like a battle between Lizs vocals and Robins guitar....classic. Thanks ritchie......!!!

I think it's a good video. I like the sweatyballox one too but overall across all the CT videos your sound balances always seem to be the best. There's a Musette and Drums upload by somebody else (can't remember who, now) in which Liz's vocals are too far back and almost drowned by the music. It would be good for a Musette and Drums one to have the vocals just marginally on top of the music because I love the intonation in that song. This song is a stormer!

Cheers mate,I love their early stuff..!!! And i cant get enough of guitar effects... I dont think they,ve been pushed enough yet..The awesome sounds they produce is just out of this world.... Like you say,people seem to step back from going all out on their imaginations- with this fab instrument...!!! Interesting comments mate...!!! cheers!!

I never thought the twins were total goth but the early stuff sounds like that lump of things floaty and errie n spooky...people are scared of effects on guitars like this as if something might happen bad.. it's too grand.. I think liz would spook the world anyway so.. ok that they stayed ghost like.
