Tired of seeing so many wrong lyrics for this song, I'm pretty sure this is what Liz sings:But I’m notSinful storiesI hear all that’s shownThis bitch’s too rich to ever understand thisAnd she’s always knownThings from the forest die hereBut I don’tDead voices are offered hereBut I’m notOurselves with liesNothing ever criesGiving itWishing martyr’s sacrificeThings from the forest die hereBut I don’tDead voices are offered hereBut I’m not (4x)

I love Liz’s hauntingly beautiful voice … singing in these Gaelic tongues, uncompromising work powers this trio’s ability to create mystical sounds that tap (at times) into the very essence of your dark side.

And I enjoy both techniques. I think it's great that she has that ability to change herself and to excel at both.

I should add that this sounds like Headcut. Before this all I had heard was Sugar Hiccup, which I like, so I was pleasantly surprised when I heard this album.

Hi there, your right their first album "Garlands" does have that fab dark, brooding & raw quality about it, its still my fave album by the band, I think Liz's vocals changed quite dramatically over the years as the band moved into the now called Shoegaze/Dreamgaze sound, to a much more softer and technically much more complicated approach, I loved her raw early vocals the best though :))

I get a very Siouxsie and the Banshees vibe from this, I like Elizabeth's voice better though.
