persoanl were, besides Clyde, Bill Pinkey( i believe is now deceased), Andrew& Gerhart Thrasher, Willie Ferbie(i think is also now deceased) i can't find out who p;layed on this song though. also sadly when Clyde died he didn't think he had any fans left. add on i can't find out who played drums but here are three players on it: Walter Adams( i believe he was their traveling guitarist), and Mickey Baker on guitar. Sam(the man) Taylor on that killer Tenor Sax.. does anyone besides me think that 50's R&R had lots of really great sax parts and players and this song is dedicated to all the Pro Athelites who never honor contracts

Little Richard is the best there is, he gave this song pure hell , as he usually does, but I also like McPhatter. Thanks for posting. Peace

This song will always be in. "Money Honey". Let's face it, that is most important to 90% of us. Just the way Clyde sang it, is so truthful now in '2014 and way back in "1953". In fact, I change my mind regarding the percentage, it's got to be 95%. Thanks so much.

To Patrick Wall...what song did Chuck Berry release in 1953? Maybelline came out early 1955. Just saying. 50s R&B = great music.

I have that song by Elvis in 78 RPM. Who were the others originals members of the 1953 Drifters on that Photo?
