This might sound like a stupid question, but what exactly do they look for in a winner? It seems... and I think this dude is fucking fantastic so I am not hating. I am trying to understand. It doesn't like there is a ummm real melodic rhythm going on. Just bad ass chops and skill.

I honestly don't know what else Clyde can do to win a GC drum off! His drumming is so tasteful, musicality was off the chart, excellent pocket grooves, etc. I think he got robbed back in 2010, and he definitely got robbed here. I honestly don't have a problem with the Octapad, but it becomes a problem when players are penalized for not using it as much as others. The only thing that Shariq Tucker had on this guy was that he used the Octapad extensively. Either judge the competition fairly or get rid of the Octapad!
