@tadawoosh What? Melody is the main draw here, man. Most people don't listen to sub-par recordings of 20 year-olds who are just OK singers sloppily playing their guitars for no reason. There's a song here, and it's in that simple, charming melody.

@redice1024 far too many bands to mention.In fact it's probably more helpful just to say that 'indie' actually used to refer to a wide variety of artists in the post punk era that often seemed to occupy their own sound world.Pretty much the only thing you could say that connected them was the fact that they usually fell outside the mainstream,and that (most crucially) they were on independent labels-e.g Factory,Small Wonder,Postcard,Kitchenware etc.

Proper,like Indie used to be before it became a generic marketing term for naff pseudo boy bands with guitars.I'm pretty sure John Peel would have loved this!
