this is a hard song to listen to, no matter how many times I do.

This song is about the process of losing their son. Craig wrote this to create a space of remembrance for his son and the story of he and his wife's process with that hardship. It is about the release of expectation and the bloom of rebirth in understanding:) it's amazing and beautiful! It's al that is good in life and I adore this song!!!

I watched the doc on this band. I thought it was really lame that they bragged about how they had other jobs aside from being a band as if that makes them more respectable musicians.

The first part (26 seconds) of this song reminds me of 1660s Paris music, like from the play "The School for Lies". The next 24 seconds reminds me of music from movie overtures at the beginning of movies. Very good music. It would be cool to see this band live!

I really like this song! Except for the lyrics, they're kind of weird. Except for the part about we're "made of water." That's true. We humans are made of 70% water in our bodies. That changes with age. A baby can have up to 75% and an adult up to 60%, I believe. I love the music without the lyrics. The band should remake this song but with no lyrics. That would be even better. Love the animation/illustration; it's great!

this song is beautiful. it really puts things into perspective. theres no reason to be sad, when you live on through.

Interestingly, if you YouTube a live version of this song played in Portland, they have this video playing in the background.

I agree the video is too literal. But, the lyrics are cruel. Very cruel, in a way. Still, I think the video is well-done. But yes, I would have like to see a broader interpretation.

This is both one of the sadist songs i've ever listened too, and also one of the most inspiring, it just makes you want to push through all of your issues. If you don't know already this song is about (the bands founder) Craig Minowa's dead son
