Why can't anyone write lovely melodies like this anymore? Nice version, but equally as nice in opinion is Tommy Reilly's harmonica led version. Interesting that this version is conducted by Charles Williams who was also a great composer of tunes like 'Dream of Olwen', 'Girls in grey', etc

This takes me back to 1950s BBC radio. This tune was used as a signature tune to a morning music programme played by orchestras before the use of records was allowed.
