I about wore this out when it first came out. It's a great song and a hell of a cut. He must have hooked up with some of the worst management in Nashville if they couldn't make a star out of him. His management tried to turn him in to another doofus crooner instead of letting him light the flame and carry the torch for real country. At least he had one hit and a song that has endured for 20 years instead of being a one hit wonder that was gone in 30 days and forgotten forever.

I'm glad i can simply go to my you tube videos and hear some real country music and not that pop music they try to pass off as country. Thanks Clinton Gregory for putting this song out. It's still a favorite.
