In that time era of when "Wherever You Go" was recorded, yes "Desperado" was the only one he didn't write himself. But nowadays, you have songs like: "Long Cool Woman", he didn't write himself, alongside of "The Strong One" he didn't write himself. I have all of Clint's CD's to date and he's an excellent songwriter and artist and guitarist.

Haha, my Dad used to sing this (out of tune of course) after many beers...I thought he made this song up! lol! The memory of these lyrics just popped in my head, and the rest is google magic. Good song....totally different than how I imagined it after my Dad's rendition.
