A great song from Clint's "Put Yourself In My Shoes" album.

The vocals (and dobro) sound great.

I like CMT,yet they should preserve the classics, otherwise they should not call it CMT.Without Roy Rogers,Waylon Jennings,George Jones,Michael Martin Murphey,Johnny Cash,Alabama,Garth and the other legends Country music would not be where it is today. Not to be mean, yet Garth made Country popish again. It helps Country to a degree in crossover success, yet when country music sounds like 7% country then something is deeply wrong.Without the steel guitar, there is no country music,it just just folk r

No offense, yet CMT is not a real Country channel like it was when I grew up.Viacom has ruined CMT.CMT needs to be bought back from Viacom and made back to how it truly should be,the way it was in 1995.

We cannot blame the artists for how CMT is these days. The shows Grand Ol' Opry,Inside Fame.Signature Series and Concerts is was the best things about CMT,yet they have abandoned their true roots which saddens me.I hate watching CMT.They mid as well call it MMT for Mixed Music Television.

CMT these days would upset Roy Rogers and others too because the channel is a Vh1 style country channel with little country on it.The cassette of this album I listened to everyday when I was three back in 1990.CMT back then was Country, yet TNN is coming back so we let CMT go.

This is really good, another folksy/western country song by Clint. Put Yourself In My Shoes had a lot of songs like, not exactly hardcore honky-tonk, but still far from the pop garbage of nashville.
