Good Lord this is Earl Thomas Conley's song! ONLY HE can sing this song & give it "justice!" Nobody can sing this song like ETC. He sings the song beautifully one of the best in country music but with ETC singing the song!!! Classic Country singers r the best....the legends!9 years ago

I agree that Earl Thomas Conely sang this song better but that said, I really love this song. Not because it in any way has anything to do with my life, I just love the song. I'm not sure that I would agree with someone being in love with someone while they are with someone else but I guess if it happens it happens. I would only hope that a person would put the loved one they have a relationship with first in this situation and walk away before they moved on to another person. Cheating is never right. I am a firm believer that if you want something besides what you have then you need to end what you have before you start something new. Just my opinion!10 years ago
