In case anyone is curious, I figured out who made that clown lamp. It was produced by the Dolly Toy Company and appeared in at least one other "Sesame Street" segment (I believe it shows up in baby Miles' bedroom), as well as the movie "Cujo."

I haven't seen this since I was about 9, and I'm 31 now! I too used to have one of those balloon lamps, and as the oldest of four kids, I felt about each of my younger siblings the way Roberta feels about Rocky. Sing it/cry cry cry, Rocky! THANK YOU for posting this!

Funny, when I was younger, I often thought this clip would be the one with Ernie decorating the house for us viewers, thanks to that balloon lamp. But I was always put wise as soon as the crying began.
