Haha. I know this is an old thread... For sure for sure, Bob, Greg and Louie are all nearly 100% bald. Greg and Bob have been wearing hair pieces since the 80s... :-) You wouldn't know it from the music they put out, though!!

No it isn't. I even read the stuff on their official website over the last several years before disbanding. Schlitt even posted a comment that said since Petra is a ministry and sometimes not all members live up to our standards, we sometimes have to replace members. This was like the third guy that was fired from that band. If someone in that band wasn't living up to the way he thought they should live, he would pressure the group into firing them. It was CONSTANT line up changes!

This whole reunion was about as unlikely as say David Lee Roth going back to Van Halen full time, multiple tours, a new album, etc. I think why it happened is John Schlitt disbanded Petra and I dont think the rest of the members wanted to quit including the ones he fired along the way! I heard John Schlitt pretty much controlled that band with Hartman and whenever one of the members wasn't being Christian enough, they were apt to be fired! Just what i heard! The lineup changes were nuts!

I don't agree, the first few albums with Schlitt were good, but the sound got boring after a while, they cranked out so many albums. I always liked Greg's voice with Petra! I seen him live too right after he left Petra in Norwalk, OH. Speaking of John Schlitt however, I did like him BETTER in the band Head East than in Petra. The music complimented his voice better although the message of Petra is of course better!
