My brother was hit by a car almost 9 months ago and he's been in a coma ever since. I can relate to this song so much even though I was 24 when it happened not 5. When something like this happens it hits like you're a child no matter how old you actually are. It's just so hard to wrap your mind around the concept of someone who is such a big part of your life not being there anymore. Even though we know people die, things end our brains don't really process the possiblilty until it happens.
