A rare, alternate take of the Irish folk song, "As I Roved Out ," sung by the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. From a stereo version of the album, "The Boys Won't Leave the Girls Alone," which included different takes of four songs that were not included on most versions of the album.
Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy sing the leads.

Thanks rmm413e. I enjoyed this. You say an 'alternate take' but I'm not so sure. This is an upbeat version on what I regard as the original... and this is the best version I can find. The original of course was sung by Tommy's mother, Sara.12 years ago
