It was the perfect album, but released a bit too late. New wave was on is retruit. New beat ansd Acid house where taking over Pop music, and Xymox made the mistake to make after this masterpiece, attemts to follow that evolution... Xymox eventueally came back too it's roots. But they allways be that 'obscure' gothband. ;)

Hmmm......only 12 hits when you enter the words "Xymox Twist of Shadows" into the search engine, and actually only half of those connected with this timeless work, which still stands now, 20 years after the initial release, as one of the best albums ever. How did the band who created this masterpiece back in 1988-89 become what they are today is beyond me.....
