keep coming back here for this track. is this an older version of the song and not the version off universal culture shock? I thought I remembered a solo somewhere in this track...

He had loved their attitude and their music and what they were about. so he had asked to join the band as a second guitarist. the band took him in and this was the true beginning of CKY. they recorded "Volume 1" in chads studio and got booked on the 1999 Warped Tour which they later got kicked off of for joining a protest against taxation of band merchandise at the festival. after kicking out bassist Ryan Bruni due to sucking on his instrument Chad Recruited Bass play Vernon Zaborowski

CKY, the first 3 songs written with this new musical direction were "Shippensburg" "Rio Bravo" and "Sara's Mask". this time they had wanted to record right after so many bad recording experiences. after getting a very impressive sounding demo tape from a local philly band. they had booked time at the studio in which the demo was recording at hoping they'd get the same Producer/Engineer, which they did. Thats where they met Chad I Ginsburg who was attracted to their song Disengage the Simulator

Oil was Born in 1996 with new bassist Ryan Bruni. oil was much more toned down from FO. they had stripped their metal sound and bringing in more radio friendly songs. Many of Oil's songs had ended up on CKY's Volume 1 such as "Halfway House" "Disengage The Simulator" and "Knee Deep". Oil had recorded what was known as the "Golden Tape" which sounded HORRIBLE. so bad that they had decided to ditch that musical direction and to write heavier ROCK songs. this is the beginning of what would become

THIS IS NO COVER! Jess Margera and Deron Miller Formed Foreign Objects in 1995 and recorded 2 demos with Deron doing the guitar/bass/vocal tracks. they recorded "Universal Culture Shock" which this song was on in 1994, then recorded "The Undiscovered Numbers And Colors" in 1995. after losing their second guitarist Matt Rissmiller and bassist Drew they wanted to take a new route and this is when "Oil" was born. with new bassist Andy smith who quikly left the band then onto Ryan Bruni on bass

@OMFGitsZACHwtf I know of foreign objects and am a big fan, but i thought CKY covered this on CKY vol. 2

Zach McGrory

@xTrettx they never covered it, foreign objects is the band they had (a heavy metal screamo band) , before chad came in and they formed cky.
