This was one of my favourites. A simple song to hear now, but in the moment, so heavy to listen to.

I was just in a museum and I heard it in a documentary and it sent my brains racing to find out where I know this from, when it suddenly hit me. Civ 5 of course. So I decided to give the entire playlist a listen in an attempt to find it - and here it is. Ahh. They said in the museum who wrote this beautiful piece but I missed it. Written by a Jew in honor of Jews who fell in the battles of the late 1940's I believe. Such a stunning piece, it moves me.

This track is so sad. Jeez. I've had it play plenty of times. During war, losing a spy, and losing a wonder. It is like one of the only things that can make me tear up. It's so sad.
