COD and Brainchild was the 1st show where I dove off the stage. They were opening for Mortal in Drexel PA circa '94. What a show!

You are wrong to say COD was an imitator. In a time where almost all "Christian music" was a bad copy of "secular music", industrial was the only genre where "Christian music" kept up to & even innovated the mainstream. As far as the Ren & Stimpy sample, you obviously weren't around when artists were able to give a free commercial to something they enjoyed, like hip hop did in the 80's or jazz did in the 30's.

Any ideas where I can get a download of COD/Brainchild or Argyle Park? My cds got wrecked by my kids long ago & I have always missed them. Also, I have friends that have just heard this for the first time & want copies.

There two slightly different versions of "Brainchild": the first, which was Scott Klayton" Albert and Doug Mann recorded as side-project being more "Industrial Metal" than COD. That was released as "Mindwarp" from the band "Brainchild". A few months later Circle of Dust got some radio and MTV play, his record company wanted new material to release, and Scott rerecorded parts of this and released it as a COD album. A few tracks ("Deviate") were remixed so you most likely heard the first...

@junkyturd He were signed on a label known to release mostly Christian stuff. But Circle of Dust was never a Christian band now was it? Klayton himself said so. And the first C.o.D albums are all good and is just as good as other releases in the genre from that period. And Ren & Stimpy they were awesome back in those days :-)
