COC does not suck because they aren't always playing blast beats, they're good because they play technical parts and mould many different feels and melodies with all sorts of different things. They're extremely original and a great band. Maybe you dislike them, but they absolutely don't suck.

I don't like Veil of Maya either, because I'm not that big a fan of Metalcore. Any kind of metalcore, really. But they are a good band. They know what they are doing. Which is the only thing that's really important.
