Circa Survive is an American rock band from the Philadelphia suburb of Doylestown, formed in 2004. The band consists of vocalist Anthony Green (the former singer of Saosin) and members of the now-defunct bands This Day Forward and Taken .

Their first album, Juturna, was released on April 9, 2005, by Equal Vision Records, and received mixed, yet mostly positive, reviews. However their second album, On Letting Go, released on May 29, 2007, met widespread critical acclaim. Their third album, Blue Sky Noise, was released on April 20, 2010, on Atlantic Records to even greater critical acclaim and mainstream success. Their fourth album, Violent Waves, was released independently on August 28, 2012.

Why don't they just transpose the songs for him? Way too high for him to sing live..Change keys and he won't have to struggle and strain his voice so much..Easy fix..

He sounds just like he should. Like on letting go. So if he uses his falsetto get over it. He wrote the fucking song

You can tell he isn't happy with that performance, he knows it doesn't sound well but the guy's on tour a lot. Instrumentals still sound as nice as ever.

Anthony is singing more, "proper", on this, because he's exhausted and strained his voice and it's very obvious. It's not all in part of his aging, the man was on tour and was simply tired. If you were on tour belting your lungs out every night then you'd strain your voice too. No matter how good your technique is, you'll strain your voice after several shows without a day break in between. I still Love him here though and think he sounds amazing as ever=)

this crowd is embarassing the show :( i would like to see people scream the same way he has since we first heard jeer of rome. eventually your vocals exhaust and you cant reach those octaves anymore. now he sounds mature and deeper. heavier and raw. they still put on a awesome fuckin show!

yeah, how dare he get older and not be able to hit those same notes that he hit when he was 24-25. He'll find his voice people, quit bitching.

wow, i cant believe how obivious it is that forces his voice to sound like. sounds worse and nothing new live, youre better off never seeing them live

You notice that tiny little extra bar of music just before the last chorus, So he can take a breather?
