I lived it. Cinderella had Shelter Me, Tesla had 5 man acoustic man, they are were looking tired and their albums got weak. Not to mention all these bands broke up around 91-92, every fucking one of them. All was left to listen to was the new bands like Nirvana. All our rock heroes were breaking up and making acoustic albums. They did THEMSELVES in, not us the fans.

umm to the guy down below..they had 3 triple platinum albums in a row,did major arena tours,had a ton of radio hits,I saw them 7 times with many bands,headlining or opening,they are/were very well known...I just saw them with last summer in cleveland they played to 5000 of us for free,because the scorps cancelled A TRUE CLASS MOVE stayed in town and kicked ass for 3 HOURS

too much time off between voice issues for Tom, is the reason and they were popular enough with Night Songs Long cold Winter and Heartbreak Station, Grunge took the wind out of the legit 80's bands, people were sick of the larger than life glam bands.

Post grunge, and I agree artistically I think it was the best album.

i beg to differ, there's even a man who wrote about it plenny in germany, century before last (Bread from Stones) .. and he only updated a fraction of way way more ancient stuff. It tends to get suppressed, .. can't have too much godhonest truth now can we?

Don't expect a freak stadium stufferband to understand that unpacking rock is the best gardening ('defense') move any creature can and given time, will be likely to make. Sustaining it is a different movie. i can't decide if i'm convicted, cursed or condemned to not be much (of a) help on it. But Andy .. for congress (Northern Cali man, forest defender footage archiver) helped research one i was tried out for in germany and austria (knowing their language).
