I have always loved Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jimmy Reed, Elvis, and a host of other groups(some of who never had more than one hit) and feel blessed to have had the opportunity to listen to them in the 50's when I was a teenager. Chuck does need to share the title though........lots of great artists. Peace.

@HectorIglesiasXC It's not actually not true. The chords to a song like Maybelline, Roll Over Beethoven or Come On are different. There is of course a certain 3-chord blues structure that is apparent troughout, but that isn't strange if you invented the rock & roll genre.

@buchananstreet - Actually on a 45 record with My Ding A Ling even though the beginning is Bye Bye Johnny and then goes into Johnny B Goode. The side that features Bye Bye Johnny was called Johnny B Goode. There was three songs that talked about Johnny B Goode. So Yes it is Johnny B Goode and No it is not Johnny B Goode.
