ahh this is the place. i just listened to another video and it was supposed to be the twist but it sounded like chubby singing with a bunch of pissed off bees in the background.

Whatever anyone says about the singing/dancing associated to this era, they have a right to their opinion.  Fact is that it sure beats any of that slamming on the floors, walls or indecent sexual gestures which are manifested in a lot of the today's modern dancing.

I;m 73 now When I was 19 I lived in Christchuch NZ & used to go to Operation Deepfreeze Quarters at CHCH Airport where they were based There was this BIG Black American who taught me how to do the Twist (Properly) We were invited to go to all the dance venues in Chch to give exhibitions o teach all the young ones how to do it OMGoodness How wonderful that was My mother even used to come She was so proud of me  I can still do it Whenever I watch these Stupid Girls on TV & Youtube I just wanna strangle them
