Foi um ótimo lançamento na época, não reconhecido. Gosto muito e Chubby escolheu uma ótima banda.

This song should have gone platinum. I don't understand why it didn't catch on. Poor record company promotion probably.

This song was written by Joe Russo. A great singer/songwriter. Joe came into my studio and mentioned he wrote this. Great song

Since this single came out it has been on the top of my list of songs that should have been a big hit but wasn't. I spoke with Chubby after a show I went to in 1986 and said i was disappointed that he hadn't played "Running" in his show. He looked a little sad and said "Man, these people don't wanna hear that from me". Such a shame. With all the awful stuff on radio a song like this is just a hard to find collectable.

Magnificent. Springsteen fans should have embraced this effort by Chubby Checker. Powerful vocals (as always), great music, arrangements and musicians. Many people missed this LP the first time in 1982 because MCA didn't promote it whatsoever. But, this proves Checker was always a contender to be a rocker throughout his "checkered" career. He should have been doing more LPs like this & still deserves to be in the R&R Hall of Fame. He wasn't just about The Twist. His vocals are pure rock & roll.
