Thanks for this lick. Seem to remember hearing Scott Henderson using one like it with the Elektric Band.

This is great, thank you! Could someone give a tips of that kind of solos, what to study. It´s really unknown genre for me. Maybe not songs of Allan Holdsworth or Guthrie Govan, a little easier perhaps...

we can learn more if you would slow down...you are a great player, i been teaching for 30 years...students cant learn that fast...but i do admire your playing. i will always watch your videos , and you have some really nice licks, but we cant learn , when you play that fast...thanks for your videos and effort.

This is absolute GOLD and really cool! Its like a note enclosure but on a chromatic instead of a chord tone! This is the kind of thing I just needed to breath new life into my improvisation.

Chromatic licks are a great way to link two or more melodic ideas together, or if you're lacking for a way to get from one area of the fretboard to another. It'll make you look like a master when you're just trying to get through an improvised solo without screwing up royally. Plus, you'll sound very fusion-y in the vein of Allan Holdsworth, Al DiMeola, Shawn Lane, Guthrie Govan, etc.
