Seeing him in Bristol next May, been waiting a long time indeed. Rates alongside the great Dougie Maclean for superb folk singers who are certs to see when the opportunity arrives.

Songs like this are only made better the more times and the more people sing them. Christy is pure genius when it comes to putting his take on anothers words.

Christy Moore, an Irishman, has an understanding of what it means to be treated as less-than-human by 'the system' and sings this song with true conviction.

Thanks, Cillian. I was using justice in its legal sense, and the "justice" was obviously injust. Was that not obvious in my post? I see that YouTube has blocked my comment for too many negative votes. I sincerely hope those negative votes came from people who misunderstood my post and would love to see justice for Trayvon Martin and his family, and not from the sad and depressing people who have turned "justice for good ole George Zimmerman" into yet another crutch to support a failed system.

Injustice*

Hard to hear the justice given to poor Trayvon Martin and not think of this song. Thank goodness Bob Dylan wrote it and Christie Moore sang it.

Nice version.Sang with a spirit of someone who 'feels' the subject matter of the song and interprets it in his own personal way. This a story about 'injustice',and each listener must have experienced it in his/her own way,be it in a mild, medium,or heavy dosage, hence its interpretation in different intensity of emotions by different singers who love this song. After all,IT IS THE MESSAGE that's important and not the messenger. However, credit must be given to any messenger who delivers the message

You crazy? Bob Dylan is where it's at. He wrote it,he put the song together based it on the true story right from the newspapers.

hard to screw up? have a listen to mason jennings' version. i could do without the guitar licks throughout this version. moore's phrasing is sweet here. (geeyental)
