I'm reuploading this with a video that I made. It's one of my favorite Weird Al songs, and as far as I know, the only deathy Al song online. I remember dancing to this one as a goofy kid, and put plenty of scratches on the vinyl doing so. If ya like it, please check out some of my other goofy animation 'n musical adventures :)

IThe sound quality on this is only a little better than it was a year and a half ago, when I first uploaded it. It was recorded at a time when I was writing a song a day and had to work in the morning. I had just gotten back from a trip at mebbe 8 and written and posted a new song, so I was pretty tired, up late, and guaranteed little sleep -- but it was definitely worth it. Worthless trivia --I did all the sound effects (siren, bomb falling noise, and explosion) with my mouth. I thought about rerecording it, but it was just such an iconic moment for me and all of death folk when I recorded it the first time, that I just couldn't do it.

The new video was created over the period of a week and features characters from those goofy stop motion Christmas specials -- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Santa Clause is Coming to Town -- that I had to (a moral imperative, you see) watch every Christmas when I had cable. I intended to put Frosty the Snowman in, and some Isle of Misfit Toys stuff, but forgot until just now. Oh well. This makes the umpteenth of my videos with lots of snow in it (this time looking lousier than ever). I was 'forced' to make this update when the old video got banned in every country except for one. I wanted the song to be online for this Christmas season and thought it deserved a real video. Hope ya enjoy!

Thanks to everyone who watched the last upload of this video and made it my first youtube 'hit' -- you make every Christmas a Christmas at Ground Zero ;)

Glad ya like the vid. I should've rerecorded the song. I was lazy and just used the same horrible quality recording of it I'd posted last year when I didn't know how to use the recording and mixing software very well.

The video is awesome the singing is not good, I may recommend it because it makes the music playing in stores actually sound good compared to something. The video is Awesome!!! I would say that you do have it and I would vote "yes"

Thanks! I listened to your cd as I was going to sleep last night. Most of its a blur at the moment (I'll listen again later tonight) but that bass on it is awesome! Is it you playing? I knew you were insanely mad on guitar, but all the bass just fits in so perfectly.

Yeah, there are plenty of nukes still out there and unaccounted for, so the song could still be prophetic. When I was a kid, I just thought it was the funniest song in the world. Now, I hear a lil' more in it when I listen, but it's still great fun. I'm glad you loved the reindeer wretching part -- that took so long to synch up, so it's nice to know it was enjoyed :)
