@Jan TurkenBurgMaybe she was using a backing track to give her a fuller sound, but she wasn't on point/time... Aguilera has one of the most unique voices and naturally talented BUT she lacks discipline. I used to think Aguilera was the best living singer in show biz BUT that title goes to Beyoncé. Beyoncé has discipline and her work ethic has always been superb and it SHOWS... For what it's worth I think Aguilera suffers from cyclothymic disorder or bipolar 2 disorder (Christina Aguilera has admitted to suffering from bouts of depression). The cyclothymic or bipolar would explain why sometimes she's so in the moment and utterly inspiring during some of her performances. It would also explain why she is sometimes off-her-game.

Why did they mess Christina's song up? She did great but it just seemed tense in the atmosphere and I don't know what was going on with the mics but I didn't hear any of that feedback at all during the first lady's song.
