I wrote the singer a letter back in 94 basically saying how much I love there music and would do anything to see them live. Kerry wrote me back a few months later and said they were doing a show in La. When he got into town he called my parents house but I wasn't there. We got to the show that night and all my friends rushed up to me and said the lead singer of Cfd is looking for you. We got to hang out and talk for 30 minutes or so before his set. One of the nicest most humblest guys ever!!

@LuciteRabbit I'm a 25 year old dude, so some of the music I love being synonymous with kids who weren't even alive when this was produced used to irritate me a lot. A while back, in one of my courses, one of the books that we read had a really good series of interviews with Ian Mackaye and he said something particularly profound regarding hurtful epithets- He refuses to speak the language of intolerance/hate because none of it applies to how he sees the world.
