Having just attended a ravishing recital at the 2012 Edinburgh International Festival by Christiane Karg, I was compelled to find out more about her. She has such polished control and a supreme ability to convey every nuance and emotion within the poetry and the music. Hers is a voice that can move mountains. It certainly moved this old man to a bubbling emotional wreck today!
