Even on YouTube, these sound tec guys somehow manage to make things sound really great. I have high end cans, good desktop speakers, and a fairly good ear from being a musician for 48 years. If I had the space, I would invest in a vinyl set up, with the right drivers and amps'n'shit. Well, it's a good dream. And a good memory. I started listening at age 2, and can remember my favorite songs and tunes from then. We had AM radio, 78 rpm records, and only three available tv channels if the antenna was properly aimed. As I grew up, we had a home built hi-fi (Dad's Heathkit days), and finally the pinnacle for the middle class, a Magnavox console. Then, of course, there were all sorts of things like reel-to-reel, 8 tracks, cassettes, cd's and you know all the rest. Fun to look back and realize how fortunate we are now with all the technology for music and vids, yet back then, I could listen to my Channel Master six transistor, in bed late at night, and feel as though I was in a concert hall. Weird how that works. Thanks to soundlabtec for posting great stuff.
