It's so hard to post a comment about her, as words cannot describe how her work affects me. I'm upset that I missed her when she came to Portland!

I just discovered Chris after hearing "Come Back Home" at the end of a Covert Affairs episode. That song gave me goose bumps that took forever to go away... found the song, went straight to You Tube. She's amazing... a true artist. Beautiful, haunting melody with lyrics to match... I'm in love.

Woah, man. Lots of men out there have vaginas. Just because you were born with female equipment, you aren't forced to identify as a 'she.' Gender is a sensitive thing, respect peoples' identities.

Came across her via cd baby recommendation, love her voice and the songs strike a note, need to go and buy some stuff now....

She has a vagina. She is a she.

From what I understand, CP generally identifies as genderqueer, so unless you ask, it's not safe to assume that either pronoun is appropriate. That being said, most press CP gets uses "she"

this song, if not the artist, deserves worldwide recognition. although, even while i type this comment i can't help but think that worldwide recognition would somehow diminish the impact of this song. not to sound "hipster" or anything like that. just my thoughts and feelings

@Ohanzee81: you don't need others to appreciate real music. On the contrary, make me think I'm on the right track to see I'm different from the 89% mass :)

This video having 27k views while certain other "chewing-gum pop-stars" have millions makes me wish I was born much earlier, in the days when people actually appreciated real music.
