A really underappreciated song from the album "Radio and Rodeo Hits".

This song represents, how our congress have turned on our farmers and ranchers, making deals for the goods outside of our country, that have no regulations on their products, total unfair trade policy, thank god we have Trump now.

Don't forget those folks at the feed store that put up the money to buy/ make feed. The feed store is usually carrying 3/4 of the ranchers that are struggling.

The BLM government need to leave us ranchers alone! To dam many stupid regulations! 150 years ago there were no dam regulations! Ranchers and farmers is what feeds America

They came close, but this old wrangler came out on top. Tougher than woodpecker lips? Ya, most likely.

Oh man, this will tear your heart out.  Far too many farmers and ranchers have lost everything.

Possibly the only song I've ever heard that remembers that folks at the bank - especially local banks - do not want farmers or ranchers to fail.  Then again, it's Chris LeDoux, who would understand how small town economies work.
